The "Double Bridges" where the soldiers from Patterson's Battery B
who were attached to the 4th Georgia Infantry were captured on April 6, 1865.  
Patterson's battle flag was also captured here.

Marker for Fort Hood below Fredericksburg.  
Ross's battery occupied this fort prior to the Battle of Fredericksburg

 

APPOMATTOX STATION

Marker at site of Appomattox Station.  The actual battle was fought outside of town 
and the site of the battlefield was recently rediscovered.
